Retailing and Retail Management

This track invites conceptual or empirical research papers that are relevant to retailing and/retail management for emerging economies. We particularly encourage new research dimensions as well as traditional issues relating to retailing and retail management. Possible retailing topics include (but are not limited to) retail entry strategies, economics of retailing, multi-channel retailing, retail efficiency analysis, semiotics in retail, pricing issues in retail, the role of retail environments on buyer decision-making, customer value proposition in retail, and issues related to attracting footfalls. Some potential topics can be Store Differentiation, Positioning and Branding, shopper behaviour related to children, senior citizens, ladies and generation x, Serious research works on new generation retail opportunities in emerging economies like Tourism, hobbies, pets, services and speciality retail are also welcome.
